We had a deadly day at the burrow, went out at about half nine and there was a nice breeze for our 5.3's. After about fourty five minutes I was approached by a kitesurfer who had lost his board and said would I keep an eye out for it. So a few minutes later comes along his board floating in the water, I hopped into the water and tryed to fix it onto my board somehow. Half way to the shore the board fell off but as I was close enough to land I decided to swim with my gear and the board. THE STRONGEST TIDE EVER it carried me so far up the beach it was unreal, so I decided my life was more important than a kitesurfers board and left it. When I sailed back to shore (with about a litre of salt water in my stomach) I was unplesantly greeted by the kitesurfer who questioned me to why I hadn't rescued his board.I will be definately be avoiding kitesurfer rescues in the future!
Anyhow after lunch we came back out on our 4.7's as it had really picked up. The chop was brilliant and ryan was launching off almost every wave. I hope to see everyone at Malahide on Paddy's day if the forcast changes for the better.
