Lesson At Kilcrea

Today myself and ryan had a lesson at Kilcrea. It was deadly wind and we learnt loads. By two o'clock the place was packed with about 15 people out such as Andy Radley and Oisin Van Geldren. It's a brilliant place to go when its a southerly wind. Our carve jybes are really coming along and its great not having to wear gloves or a hood. My new fin and wetsuit were really good too and ryan was really bombing it on his new futura! We'll defo be going out there in the next windy southerly.

Had a good time in Egypt, was only windy 2 days but was ok because there was a class gym and savage snorkling spots. Am so happy with my new board, its class!! Am just about carve jibing. Seems terrible that i cant as i saw Andy and Oisin and couple of other guys out freestyling and pulling spocks and vulcans! There pretty amazing. Hopefully will get out a few afternoons after school, and hope next weekend is good wind!

Light Wind Gear Testing!!!?

The Saturday just gone myself and ryan tested evry bit of gear we had as the wind wasnt great for propper stuff. We both went out on our wave boards for the first time Mine 90L and ryan's 69L!!!!! I was grand but ryan might as well ben sailing on a stick and we had our 5.3's out. At the moment the wind isn't showing up so until then........

Today at the Burrow

I had a sick session today at the burrow. When I woke up there wasn't a ripple then suddenly around 12 o'clock it suddenly picked up. It was ideal for my 5.3 I was ripping along and my carve jybes are getting better every time :) . I'm off to wicklow for three days but when I get back i'm getting my new wetsuit and hopefuly a new mast too. Hope I dont miss out on good conditions when i'm gone!

Bordem!

Luky Ryan has gone of to Eygept for the week so i'm stuck here with no wind. Have been working on my JP and its lookin pretty good. Can't wait for my new MFC Liquid Pro to arrive should give me that tiny bit extra speed. Until the wind comes back i'm out of info!!!
